TPACT
Vision
Taos Pueblo is the thriving community our ancestors prayed for and our children deserve.
Mission
TPACT is a Taos Pueblo Coalition that revitalizes our community’s core values and prevents youth substance abuse, in order to foster a strong Red Willow Nation.
TPACT was organized in 2017 to address the increasing trend of substance misuse existing among the Taos Pueblo community. We have just started our third year of funding through the Drug Free Communities grant (DFC). In line with the requirements of the grant we are composed of concerned and committed Taos Pueblo representatives from 12 different sectors of the community who understand the strong cultural uniqueness of Taos Pueblo.

Through collaboration within our different sectors, specifically our youth serving organizations, we have put an emphasis on our Taos Pueblo Youth by establishing a youth coalition and creating activities for youth to partake in. These activities and events include Indigenous Club in the different schools in Taos County, Holiday Drive-Thru events, a community wide Run For Change where we brought awareness to the Taos Pueblo Community about substance misuse while encouraging healthy behaviors and family friendly activities.
Monthly TPACT meetings take place on the third Wednesday of the month from 2 PM-3 PM via Zoom. Fill out the contact form below for the Zoom link if you are interested in attending.
